Top Gaming Influencer Group FaZe Clan Is Now A Penny Stock

When FaZe Clan, an esports company turned gaming lifestyle agency, went public last year it claimed to be worth $700 million. Just six months later it’s worth just a fraction of that. Whether it’s the controversy constantly swirling around some of its members or the fact that the esports bubble has finally popped, nobody wants to buy into FaZe Clan it seems, potentially making one of the biggest bets in gaming a complete bust.

Black Horror Game YouTuber Has Everyone Debating Platform Racism, Favoritism

YouTube’s Trending page is typically full of easy-going content like music videos, comedy sketches, and game trailers, along with popular creators like Mr. Beast and SSSniperWolf. However, on August 24, the number-one trending video was a callout against the platform itself, with accusations of racism or favoritism levied at Google’s video-sharing service. The commotion was all over the platform’s treatment of a gameplay video. The explosive claims have led other top creators, from moistcr1tikal to Philip DeFranco, to debate just how unevenly YouTube’s content moderation team enforces its policies.

Big-Name Streamer Sykkuno Ditched Twitch Partly Because It Misspelled His Name

Sykkuno, one of Twitch’s top streamers known for his wholesome demeanor and for playing games like Among Us and GTA Online, left the Amazon-owned platform for the red pastures of YouTube Gaming this month. The move shocked the livestreaming space because Sykkuno was something of a household name on Twitch, boasting four million followers and 103 million total views since becoming a more consistent streamer in April 2019. However, the switch made sense for him because, as he revealed during his first-ever YouTube Gaming livestream, the Google-owned platform offered him a slightly better deal, and Twitch gave his name a…
