UK Yogscast streamer Pedguin banned on Twitch for use of emotes including a Winnie the Pooh cartoon posterior and hot tub

Peter ‘Pedguin’ Mann, UK streamer and member of the UK-based entertainment group Yogscast, has been banned on Twitch. Pedguin says the ban was due to his emotes, and white Twitch hadn’t apparently told him what was specifically wrong with his latest emotes, it did previously state previous emotes were removed due to ‘imagery of sexualised content or nudity’. Pedguin had previously submitted slightly different versions of the below Winnie the Pooh-style emotes, which were removed by Twitch, prompting him to make tweaks and changes. Top Blokes, Guild finish top 6 in RLCS X European Championship

Top Blokes and Guild Esports, two of the UK’s strongest Rocket League teams, finished 3rd-4th and 5th respectively in the RLCS X European Championship. The European Championship is the European portion of the cancelled LAN World Championship, which was split into regional Championships and moved online.  Both UK-majority teams started in the Upper Quarterfinals, with Guild looking flat and quickly falling to Top Blokes in two consecutive best-of-five series. A mix of experienced British esports casters have joined the upcoming League of Legends: Wild Rift Origin Series broadcast talent line-up. And there’s three UK teams involved: Team Future, Reason Gaming and Resolve. Tridd will host the Riot Games tournament for the Europe, CIS, Turkey and MENA regions, which features a €300,000 prize pool. Excel Esports sign UK former Fnatic Valorant player Moe and make other changes to roster

UK organisation Excel Esports has made some changes to its Valorant roster, with the signing of Norwegian/Chile player Rubino and UK player Moe40. Rubino joins from Team Heretics and Moe arrives after a stint at Fnatic. There, he played alongside former Excel vlogger Boaster, with whom he also played on SUMN FC before joining Fnatic. Excel, Davidp and B1GGY have decided to mutually terminate agreements, to allow them to pursue other projects in the Valorant scene. Ubisoft has today announced the 2021 Summer Season for the Rainbow Six Siege UK Ireland Nationals (UKIN). The prize for the winning team will secure a place in the 2021 Challenger League and a chance to qualify for the 2022 European League.
