Gross Gore becomes what appears to be the first streamer banned by both Streamlabs and Streamelements, claims ‘cancel culture is getting out of hand’

UK League of Legends streamer Ali ‘Gross Gore’ Larsen claims to be the first person to have received bans from both Streamlabs and Streamelements. The broadcast software platforms, which allow streamers to manage features such as text-to-speech, graphics, donations and more, banned Gross Gore when he was banned by Twitch back in March. This meant Ali has been unable to use text-to-speech (TTS) on his streams for any viewer donations received. UK streamer TommyInnit named fastest-growing Twitch streamer of 2021 so far

Minecraft streamer TommyInnit is Twitch’s fastest-growing streamer in 2021 so far, according to research from esports betting platform Unikrn. The British gamer, real name Thomas Simons, has grown by 2.3m followers on the platform this year taking his overall followers to more than 5m. Fellow Brit, Tubbo, one of Tommy’s friends, is the fourth fastest-growing streamer in 2021 according to Unikrn, and has managed to bring in 1.5m new fans, almost doubling his following. Two prominent Hearthstone streamers have stepped down from an upcoming tournament in order to help improve diversity and inclusion in the space. Kripparrian and RegisKillbin were due to take part in the Hearthstone Crossroads Inn-vitational tomorrow (April 21st), featuring 20 players and a $100,000 prize pool. They have now voluntarily stepped down, with women players Lunaloveee and Avelline taking their spaces. The move comes following a debate around sexism and a lack of inclusion within the Hearthstone community. UK League of Legends streamer Bizzleberry has teamed up with none other than global streaming star Ninja. One viewer (Jared Jackson) described it as “the crossover no one expected, but everyone wanted”. The pair played a few games in Platinum elo today on Bizzleberry’s Twitch channel (starting around the 6 hour 56 minute mark).
