The Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC), the European Regional League (ERL) for the UK, Ireland and Nordics, has completed its Spring 2022 Division 1 season. The teams that have progressed to the playoffs (in order, from top bottom) are: Bifrost, X7 Esports, JDXL (Excel Esports academy team), Dusty, Vanir and Riddle Esports. The Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC), the European Regional League (ERL) for the UK, Ireland and Nordics, has seen its Spring 2022 Division 1 playoff teams locked in. While the top six have been confirmed, seeding is still to be sorted. This is because there’s still one more week of matches to play, and the order of the top six may change. Amazon University Esports 2022 Spring Split kicks off with more than £24,000 worth of prizes available to students in the UK & Ireland

The final stage of the 2021/22 Amazon University Esports tournament in the UK and Ireland has officially kicked off. Student teams will be doing battle in the 2022 Spring Split in the hopes of qualifying for the grand finals. The split is put together through a joint effort between UK esports university body, NUEL, and tournament platform provider GGTech. The split will feature games including CSGO, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, Rocket League, Teamfight Tactics and Clash Royale. Rogue become the first team to reach the LEC Spring 2022 Playoffs

Blast Premier dates, format and prize pool revealed for 2022

Blast Premier will be returning for the tournament series’ third instalment this year and organisers say it will see ‘318 hours of world class Counter-Strike’ played across seven events in 2022. The tournament series will be the first and last major CSGO event for fans to sink their teeth into this year, where no team will be required to play more than one best-of-three match in a day.  The Blast Premier 2022 tournament circuit has a combined prize money of $2,475,000. The Premier League and EA have today announced the return of the ePremier League FIFA esports tournament for the 2021/22 season, with an increased prize pool. Amazon University Esports UK Season 2 registration opens, with a new women’s Valorant tournament and £35,000+ in prizing up for grabs overall

Amazon University Esports UK is kicking off its second season, with UK university esports operator NUEL delivering the tournament once again. This new edition will hope to see some 900 teams and 6,500 students from 95 UK universities, as per the usual NUEL tournaments, and for the first time, universities from the Republic of Ireland will be able to take part in the esports competition.
