Future Bethesda games to be exclusive to platforms with Game Pass, Microsoft to continue supporting current multi-platform games

It looks like future Bethesda titles will indeed be exclusive to “platforms where Game Pass exists,” according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer.Speaking during today’s Xbox and Bethesda roundtable, Spencer basically reiterated what he said earlier this week regarding whether new Zenimax Media games will be multi-platform.The company will still honor current contractual obligations such as those with Sony for Ghostwire: Tokyo and Death Loop.“We have games that exist on other platforms, and we’re going to go support those games on the platforms they’re on,” said Spencer. “There are communities of players, and we love those communities and we’ll continue to invest in…

Rune 2 now revamped, after alleged Bethesda sabotage

November is the month of the Viking, apparently, but we’re not talking about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla this time. Today, Rune 2: Decapitation Edition came out. It’s an open world action-RPG where you play as some Viking trying to save Midgard, but truly, I’m glossing over the interesting bit. Rune 2 has gone through nothing but drama over the last year – which most recently involved its publishers accusing Bethesda and Zenimax of intentionally sabotaging the game. (more…)
