Resolve enters Rocket League with Williams Racing partnership

UK League of Legends-focused organisation Resolve has partnered with British racing team Williams Racing and will take part in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Season XI. Williams’ move has been made through its Williams Esports operation. Within the game, players can already choose to run the Williams FW43B livery, owing to Formula One’s recently released Rocket League fan pack. Guild announces it’s the world’s fastest-growing esports organisation in latest financial results after winning FNCS All-Star Showdown

UK-based esports organisation Guild Esports has detailed its growth in a financial report covering October 2020 to March 2021. The org – backed by David Beckham – had an audience of 160,000 as of March 31st 2021. This has risen to almost 800,000 since then, increasing by 50% month-on-month, as Guild hopes to reach the 1m mark by the end of its current financial year at the end of September. If you include Guild’s roster of pro players and content creators, this reach extended to 8m as of March 31st, or around 15.6m now (not including Beckham’s 125m+ followers). Continue…

Caedrel joins DRX as its official global streamer and will co-stream LCK matches

British LEC caster and former pro League of Legends player, Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, has joined South Korean esports organisation DRX as its official global streamer. The former League of Legends pro player – who left Excel Esports in late 2020 to focus on his career as a caster – has more than 100,000 followers on Twitch and 76,000 on Twitter. Caedrel has been embraced by the League of Legends community and this announcement is the latest development in his esports career. Method moves into Minecraft esports with launch of Method Rush and new speedrunner stream team

UK-based esports organisation Method has moved into Minecraft esports with a new speedrunning event and the signing of six competitive Minecraft speedrunners. Tenstar move into Valorant: New UK-based esports organisation sign UK-core Valorant roster Tarren Mill

New UK-based esports organisation Tenstar have announced their first team – the Valorant roster known as Tarren Mill. The team includes UK players Jack ‘Br0die’ Emmott, Calum ‘KRAY’ Knight, Russel ‘Russ’ Mendes, Tramaine ‘stanley’ Stanley and Finnish player Niko ‘polvi’ Polvinen.
