Paradise Killer

There are very few murder mystery games that give you as much agency as Paradise Killer does. Although it takes a little while to get into the swing of things, when you’re deep in your investigation, coming across key pieces of evidence or catching your suspects out in a lie, you feel unstoppable. And having the power to make an accusation, right or wrong, is a very nice touch too. I’d like to see the same gameplay replicated in an experience more grounded in reality, but once you get used to the fact you’re living amongst gods and immortal beings,…

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 could have fallen into easy nostalgia. Instead, it lives up to its name. The attention to detail in the easter eggs, the music selection that respects classics like Guerrilla Radio or Superman, the classic outfits combined with the current look of professional skateboarders, all of this makes this game a remake that understands everything and that even laughs at itself.

Marvel’s Avengers

Jeuxvideo.com Sep 3, 2020 65 As a whole, the game is interesting, thanks to a (too?) complete customization system and complementary superheroes. On the other hand, the player often finds himself confronted with awkward choices and great redundancy synonymous with repetitive missions… Although Crystal Dynamics has, unlike BioWare with Anthem, avoided the trap of unbalanced loot, the game remains, as it is, simply attractive if not essential.

Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale

WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship

Wccftech Sep 3, 2020 80 WRC 9 is yet another step ahead for the WRC series from KT Racing and Nacon. However, unlike last year’s outing which was a massive leap, this seems to be content to simply refine. In keeping with that, the visuals, audio, and general racing have seen improvement, as have the physics, and although there are a few bugs here and there, they’re fewer and further between. There’s no doubt that WRC 9 is a strong contender and should certainly be on the list for anybody who wants a great rally game.

If you’re looking for a new strategy title with some RPG flair that will suck you in for 500 hours or more during this endless lockdown, then it should be on your wishlist already. Better still, future support is already assured – there’s one expansion already in the works plus a few flavour packs coming soon if the huge base game isn’t enough for you. Iron Harvest

GameWatcher Aug 31, 2020 80 I haven’t enjoyed an RTS game this much since Company of Heroes 2. Forget the comparisons and enjoy Iron Harvest for what it is: a squad-focused, narrative-driven, old-school real-time strategy game. If you enjoy your RTS games with a strong single-player element and a multiplayer scene that is seemingly well balanced and competitive, then there’s a lot to like here. I wish the production values were higher in both the cutscenes and the audio and voice-over elements, but if you can look past that as I did, Iron Harvest can be a lot of fun….

Wasteland 3 is a huge undertaking, marrying deep, choice-driven role play with fast-paced tactical combat and vast areas to explore. Tell Me Why

Tell Me Why isn’t a major deviation from what we expect from episodic narrative experiences, but it’s one of the few that feels like it has really gotten the storytelling format right for video games. At three episodes in length, the series feels concise and well-paced, and with its new chapters releasing weekly, players won’t experience a protracted wait between new episodes that happened with Life is Strange. More importantly, Tell Me Why manages to craft an engaging story that’s worth seeing through to the very end, especially in regard to its well-developed characters and core relationship between Tyler and…
