Pro FIFA players are complaining about being made to play on 50-inch TVs at the ePremier League finals in London

One of the UK’s first big-name esports LANs since the pandemic is taking place live in London this weekend, but some of the participants have taken to Twitter to complain. Pro FIFA players including Excel Esports’ Huge Gorilla and Tom Leese (both representing Spurs at the ePremier League) and Tom Stokes of Hashtag United (representing Watford) have complained about being made to play on 50-inch TVs in the ePremier League tournament. Sky to broadcast ePremier League 2021/22 grand finals on UK TV, player line-ups revealed

The FIFA ePremier League 2021/2022 grand finals will take place this month, and the player/club line-ups have been revealed. ePremier League prize pool rises 150% as registration opens for 2021/22 FIFA tournament

The Premier League and EA have today announced the return of the ePremier League FIFA esports tournament for the 2021/22 season, with an increased prize pool. Now into its fourth year, the competition gives Premier League fans a shot at glory by winning silverware for their favourite Premier League football club.  The prize pool for the tournament has increased to £100,000, up from last event’s £40,000, with three seats on offer for top-ranking players at the EA Sports FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs. Shellzz wins 2020/21 ePremier League on penalties for Manchester City

Manchester City FIFA player Shaun ‘Shellzz’ Springette has won the 2020/21 ePremier League (ePL) after a tense grand final. Shellzz won the first leg 4-2, but Leeds United’s Olle ‘Ollelito’ Arbin took the second leg 3-1, making the final score tied 5-5, taking the final to extra time. Ollelito took the lead at the start of extra time, but Shellzz levelled things up to make it 6-6 and take the game to penalties.
