UK orgs Endpoint and SMPR qualify for RLCS Fall Major after facing off in EU Regional Event 3 grand final

It’s been a fantastic weekend for UK esports organisations Endpoint and SMPR who have both qualified for the 2021-22 Rocket League Fall Major. Not only did they finish first and fourth in the RLCS EU Fall Rankings respectively, after accruing points in the three regionals, but they also reached the final of the EU Regional Event 3 this weekend. Endpoint defeated SMPR 4-2 and 4-3 in the grand final, giving them their second EU Regional Event win – after Endpoint won the first RLCS European Fall Open last month. Endpoint CeX become first UK esports team to launch a blockchain fan token, with plans to open a new team HQ in 2022

Endpoint CeX have become the first UK esports organisation to launch a fan token, in partnership with blockchain provider Chiliz. The org have also unveiled plans to open an Endpoint HQ/office facility next year. The ‘$ENDCEX’ fan token will launch on November 18th on the fan engagement app Socios.com, which already has a number of other sports teams and five other esports teams on board: OG, Navi, Team Heretics, Alliance and Vitality. UK esports organisations like MNM Gaming and Endpoint will be taking part in a $10,000 esports tournament for a new MOBA shooter. The first tournament for The Machines Arena (TMA), the TMA Championship 2021, will be broadcast live from Iceland on Twitch from October 1st to 3rd 2021, through official streaming partner FaceIT TV. UK esports organisation Endpoint have revealed a new program they’re putting in place to prevent their best players from leaving in the future. Last week, top UK CSGO player William ‘mezii’ Merriman left Endpoint to join Fnatic. While providing a springboard for top talent to join bigger orgs and leagues is helpful to the player in question, and the org usually receives a buyout fee, it means the smaller org has to rebuild again – something that is all too familiar for grassroots UK esports organisations. Fnatic sign UK CSGO players Alex and Mezii

London-based esports giant Fnatic have brought two UK CSGO players onto their roster: William ‘mezii’ Merriman and Alex ‘ALEX’ McMeekin. The pair previously played at Cloud9 together before the org put their CSGO operations on hold, and earlier this year, mezii joined UK esports organisation Endpoint. Big wins for UK Rainbow Six as Viperio qualify for European Challenger League and Endpoint win CCS Women’s League

It’s been a huge week for UK Rainbow Six Siege esports after two UK organisations – Viperio and Endpoint – made notable achievements in the scene. Firstly, Viperio 86 have qualified for the 2021 European Challenger League. They made it through after finishing second in the regular season of the Summer 2021 UK and Ireland Nationals, behind Navi. In the playoffs last night, which featured teams from third to sixth place, Cowana beat Victus 2-0 and MNM Gaming beat WYLDE 2-0. Last weekend the latest epic.LAN took place – a hybrid event featuring a mix of online elements plus a physical venue. Dom Sacco provides a quick recap of the esports winners. Epic33 took place from July 1st to 4th 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Coventry, and as usual, a number of esports tournaments got underway.
