Yes, you read that correctly. No, it’s not April 1st. Esports talent from as far as Canada (CSGO caster Davey) want to travel to a studio in the UK, to watch different coloured emulsion paint decorate walls. IEM Katowice 2022 CSGO caster line-up announced, with a host of UK talent on board

The Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice CSGO broadcast talent/caster line-up has been revealed. From the UK, Freya Spiers is on board as desk host and Allan Hender as an analyst. Then, of the ten casters, five are from the UK – there’s Hugo Byron, JustHarry, Dinko, Hawka and Wolfy6678. The observer, Rushly, is also from the UK, as are the observers for the second broadcast – ItsRandall and Zarx, according to Liquipedia’s IEM 16 page. UK LoL broadcast talent Viperoon, Jamada and Hiprain to cast LCL English broadcast with Unicorns of Love, plus DocDa on board for week one matches

Hiprain, Jamada and Viperoon will cast this, running alongside the main Russian broadcast which begins on February 12th. UK caster DocDa will also be helping the cast for week one’s matches. It’s being organised by defending LCL champions Unicorns of Love, who attended Worlds and MSI last year, and is supported by LCL organiser and sponsor Gig.me. Caedrel and Medic join LFL English broadcast team as guest casters

British League of Legends personalities Aaron ‘Medic’ Chamberlain and Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont will feature in the LFL English speaking broadcasts. The pair, who are known for casting in the higher-tier LEC as well as streaming, will lend their voices to the English language broadcast of the French Ligue Française de League of Legends (LFL) as guest casters. It was recently announced that the LFL would feature an English broadcast for the first time, with Canadian esports organiser Northern Arena teaming up with Webedia, Riot Games and the LFL to broadcast it. NLC 2022 caster line-up announced: Jamada, Trouble and more return, with Nymaera, Initialise and others joining full-time

Casters Hiprain, Guldborg, Jamada and Troubleinc have returned to helm the new NLC under Freaks 4U Gaming.  The tournament organiser has also brought on board Viperoon, Initialise and Nymaera, who were guest casters last year. UK caster Aux joins LPL English language broadcast team for 2022

UK League of Legends (LoL) colour caster Dan ‘Aux’ Harrison has joined the Chinese LPL English language broadcast team. Aux made the announcement that he will be a full-time caster with the LPL in 2022 on New Year’s Eve. The news comes after Aux had a successful stint as an LPL guest caster during the Summer 2021 Season. Aux has a storied history in UK League of Legends, having played as support for Excel Esports for almost two years, helping Excel win their first ESL Prem in late 2017, before transitioning into casting. Caedrel, Medic join Red Bull Solo Q League of Legends 1v1 World Final broadcast, UK tournament winner no longer taking part

British LEC casters Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont and Aaron ‘Medic’ Chamberlain have joined the broadcast desk for this weekend’s Red Bull Solo Q final. The 1v1 League of Legends tournament takes place between December 4th and 5th 2021 from BMW Welt in Munich, Germany, and will feature 19 players battling it out. Casters Caerel and Medic join LEC host Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Depoortere, who was already part of the tournament when Red Bull Solo Q’s return for 2021 was announced back in the summer, as well as René ‘Masterplay’ Geigenberger as co-host, and NLC caster Georgia ‘Troubleinc’ Paras as another caster. Update (October 13th 2021): British esports host and interviewer Freya Spiers has joined to the CSGO PGL Major 2021 broadcast talent line-up as a stage host. The news comes after PGL CEO Silviu Stroie also confirmed on Twitter that broadcast talent will be live from the Avicii Arena (previously the plan was for them to be based at the PGL Studio in Bucharest and casting remotely). Riot Games has announced the broadcast talent line-up for the Wild Rift: Origin Series Championship taking place between September 24th and 26th 2021. The event will see some of the best Wild Rift players EMEA/MENA battle it out in Stockholm for the chance to be crowned the Wild Rift: Origin Series champions, as well as taking home the lion’s share of €150,000. US League of Legends streamer and personality Christian ‘IWillDominate’ Rivera (aka Dom) is about to make his professional casting debut on a Riot broadcast. He will be joining the LPL English broadcast stream on July 11th, covering the top-tier of Chinese League of Legends. Specifically, matches between Suning and Top Esports, and Team WE and JD Gaming. He will be joining the likes of Joe ‘Munchables’ Fenny, an experienced UK play-by-play caster who has worked with ESL UK on Premiership broadcasts, on the UKLC, EU Masters and more, and now works on the LPL English broadcast.
