UK esports organisation NerdRage have been banned from participating in the UK Esports League (UKEL) until 2023. The ruling comes for a few reasons. Firstly, for the handling of a substitute player last weekend, secondly for ‘not conducting themselves in a professional manner’ on social media, and also for poor communication around player tryouts during the off-season, which saw the org placed under probation by the UKEL for the 2021 Summer Split. Spanish streamer and former League of Legends caster Ibai ‘Ibai’ Llanos has been banned on Twitch after a guest flashed their buttocks on stream. This appears to be the reason for his latest ban, where a guest exposed themselves during a rap battle event. Ibai explained on Twitter: “During the weekend battles, one of the boys showed his ass. UK League of Legends streamer Ali ‘Gross Gore’ Larsen claims to be the first person to have received bans from both Streamlabs and Streamelements. The broadcast software platforms, which allow streamers to manage features such as text-to-speech, graphics, donations and more, banned Gross Gore when he was banned by Twitch back in March. This meant Ali has been unable to use text-to-speech (TTS) on his streams for any viewer donations received.
