UK Call of Duty League franchise the London Royal Ravens have this evening announced their new player roster for 2022. The line-up includes returning players Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris and Byron ‘Nastie’ Plumridge, as well as a newcomer to the Ravens, Joey ‘Gismo’ Owen, and existing player Marcus ‘Afro’ Reid, who extended his contract with the Ravens back in September. James ‘Dominate’ Batz remains as coach, and Michael ‘Odee’ O’Dell as managing director of the team. ePremier League prize pool rises 150% as registration opens for 2021/22 FIFA tournament

The Premier League and EA have today announced the return of the ePremier League FIFA esports tournament for the 2021/22 season, with an increased prize pool. Now into its fourth year, the competition gives Premier League fans a shot at glory by winning silverware for their favourite Premier League football club.  The prize pool for the tournament has increased to £100,000, up from last event’s £40,000, with three seats on offer for top-ranking players at the EA Sports FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs. Riot unveils new TFT Rising Legends esports circuit for EMEA

Riot Games has announced a new competitive circuit for Teamfight Tactics (TFT), known as Teamfight Tactics Rising Legends: Gizmos and Gadgets. Taking place from November 2021 to March 2022, and operated by GGTech Entertainment, players from the EMEA region will fight it out for a share of a €43,000 prize pool.  There will be four qualification spots on the line for the TFT World Championship, the premier tournament in the League of Legends team-building auto-battler PVP strategy game. Man City to compete in Fortnite esports after signing 16-year-old player

English Premier League football club Manchester City have moved into Fortnite esports for the first time. They’ve signed 16-year-old player from Pennsylvania, Aidan ‘Threats’ Mong, who has taken part in a lot of cash cups in North America this year. According to an announcement post on the Man City website, Threats began playing Fortnite in October 2017 and fully committed to training in December 2020. UK-based organisation Guild Esports has announced the signing of an all-women Valorant team. The new team, Guild X, comprises Vivian Mae Schilling ‘Roxi’ (DE), Yağmur Gündüz ‘Smurfette’ (TUR), Anastasiya Rival’evna ‘Glance’ (RUS), Benfakir Sophia ‘Kim’ (FRA) and team captain Klaudia Beczkiewicz ‘Cinnamon’ (USA). All five players, who previously competed as Project X, have signed one-year contracts with an option to renew for another year. They will receive an annual salary and performance incentives. Dubai-based esports organisation Galaxy Racer has signed Anne Fish, aka ‘mamabenjyfishy’ or ‘mama fishy’, the British mother of pro Fortnite player benjyfishy. Mama Fishy has joined the org as a content creator. The signing comes after she competed at Galaxy Racer’s most recent Fortnite Tournament, the Aubameyang Cup, where it was agreed if Anne placed in the top 50, the esports organisation would offer her an official content creator contract.
