AMD’s Radeon RX 6700 and 6700 XT could be here by the end of March

The next graphics cards in AMD’s Big Navi and RDNA 2 line-up could be here in just a couple of months time, according to fresh internet rumours. The purported Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT GPUs will both launch before the end of March according to French publication CowCotLand, whose unnamed sources claim they’re currently scheduled to be released by the end of the first quarter of 2021. Just how good are AMD’s first 4K Big Navi benchmarks compared to the RTX 3080?

Yesterday, AMD gave us our first glimpse of what their upcoming RX 6000 [cms-block] graphics cards will be able achieve at 4K. While the bulk of their Zen 3 event was centred around their Ryzen 5000 CPUs, we also got a first look at their first Big Navi GPU in action, running Borderlands 3 on its top Badass quality settings at an average of 61fps. AMD tease first 4K benchmark figures for their RX 6000 Big Navi GPU

If unveiling their next generation of Ryzen 5000 CPUs wasn’t enough this evening, AMD also gave us a sneak peak at their upcoming [cms-block] GPUs during tonight’s Zen 3 event. Not only did they give us our first glimpse of AMD’s upcoming 4K graphics card in the flesh (as opposed to looking at a giant floating model of it in Fortnite), but they also teased some very tantalising-looking 4K benchmark results. This is what AMD’s first Big Navi graphics card looks like

AMD weren’t kidding when they said “something big” was coming to their Fortnite multiplayer island, as they’ve just revealed the design of their first [cms-block] graphics card there. Featuring a “brand new cooler design”, this is likely the first RX 6000 card that will be revealed during AMD’s big RDNA 2 event on October 28th. AMD are using Fortnite to tease their RX 6000 Big Navi GPUs

While much of the next-gen graphics card conversation has been dominated by the trio of new [cms-block] GPUs this past week, a recent discovery inside AMD’s Battle Arena map in Fortnite suggests they, too, could be quietly gearing up to announce their own set next-gen graphics cards, the long awaited second generation of their [cms-block] GPUs.
