CoD Warzone HARP | How to get the HARP U.A.V. killstreak

By Rebecca Jones 22 June 2021 14:15 GMT The HARP killstreak is a new addition to Call of Duty: Warzone with Season 4. However, this new U.A.V. is likely to be time-limited: it’s part of the Ground Fall event, which means its continued availability is uncertain past June 24th.Watch on YouTubePlayers of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will likely already be familiar with the HARP (a.k.a. High-Altitude Reconnaissance Plane). It’s been one of the most popular killstreaks — technically called scorestreaks these days — in BOCW since it was introduced in that game’s first season. An innocuous Call of Duty Warzone Salt Mines door is killing players, for some reason

By Dom Peppiatt 21 June 2021 17:15 GMT Call of Duty: Warzone seems to have spawned a door that will kill players when they try and pass through it – so you’re probably best off avoiding the Salt Mines for now.Redditor Rxelik has figured out that a specific door in a warehouse in the Salt Mines portion of the map will instantly knock you if you go anywhere near it. The user posted some footage of the offending barrier over on the r/warzone subreddit.Showing solidarity and wanting to prove that The Scary Door is, indeed, deadly, other players flocked to the unlikely…

E3 2021: 20 Games Missing From The Show

Silence screams volumes. Over the past five days, video game publishers have shouted announcements for the biggest games from the rooftops. But that chorus has been drowned out by the far more deafening din of what wasn’t announced at E3 2021. Of course, we had some inkling beforehand about which blockbusters wouldn’t show up. Ubisoft said from the jump that we’d see nothing from The Division or the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake. Deep Silver, the publisher behind series like Timesplitters and Dead Island, also said that it wouldn’t exhibit any games at E3. Activision, Sony, and EA…

The Best Moments In E3 History

Before E3, everyone gets excited for the big new announcements. But after E3, all anyone remembers—and cherishes—are the kind of screw-ups, misfires and awkward heroism you can only get when corporate executives and video game developers have to get on stage and act like salespeople in front of millions. This post originally appeared 6/11/15.This being a site all about the best things, then, here are what we think are the best E3 moments of all time. And by “best”, I mean within the context of how we, as superfans of video games, consume and remember the show. The moments where…

Cargo Trucks should no longer dominate Warzone Solos thanks to new patch

By Sherif Saed 28 May 2021 10:58 GMT Things are going to feel different in Warzone Solos going forward.Warzone developer Raven has delivered on its promise to look into the problem of cargo trucks in the game’s Solos mode. Cargo trucks are the sturdiest vehicle in the game and they have ruled the Solos meta for months.Watch on YouTubeThis happened when players in Solos realised that cargo trucks can be used to avoid engagement. Because of the sheer number of them, and their demonstrably high durability, most simply would rather avoid them than take them down. This causes the end…

Call of Duty: Warzone massively reduces Stopping Power drop rate

By Dom Peppiatt 20 May 2021 11:10 GMT Raven Software has drastically altered the drop rate for the field upgrade Stopping Power in Call of Duty: Warzone with this week’s mid-season update. If you’re unfamiliar with Stopping Power, the upgrade allows you to reload your current weapon with more powerful rounds that dish out extra damage to anyone unfortunate enough to be in your sights.Players have been calling for Raven to modify and balance the upgrade for a while, complaining it reduced the already controversial TTK in the game to a frankly trivial level.[]“Given Stopping Power’s efficacy and lack of counter…

Call Of Duty: Warzone has now banned over 500,000 accounts for cheating

Warzone, Warzone never changes—which means there will always be cheaters to ban. That’s true of any competitive game, but we’re talking about Activision’s FPS royale today.
